Paramount Hotel Completes $40 Million Upgrade
NEW YORK–The 597-room Paramount has unveiled a $40 million renovation of the historic, 1928-era hotel.
The property, which is located in the Broadway theater district, is currently owned by RFR Holding, LLC. A focus of the renovation has been the two-story lobby as well as the hotel's event spaces and the new Paramount Bar & Grill. Two design firms, Stonehill & Taylor Architects and the Meyer Davis Studio, were responsible for the work. The original architect of the building, Thomas Lamb, also designed a number of the nearby Broadway theaters.
In addition to The Paramount, RFR Holding's hotel portfolio includes the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York as well as properties in Miami and Frankfurt, Germany.
