The Enchanted Island – The Met’s Baroque Fantasy returns after a critically-acclaimed world premier run in 2011-2013. From February 26th through March 20th, you’ll be able to listen to the music of Handel, Vivaldi, Rameau, Purcell, and others, set to a new English libretto inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tempest and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Falstaff – Music Director James Levine conducts Verdi’s opera, Falstaff, for the first time at the Met since 2005. This Robert Carsen production is the first new Met Falstaff since 1964, and is set in the English countryside, in the mid-20th century.
